Detroit Winter – 256 Shades of Gray

Ah, Belle Isle Park in February. Pretty and Dreary.

  1. That’s a beautiful, Steiglitz-esque shot.

  2. Forget hurricanes! How about the great famine of 2004? Two women — one in Detroit, the other in LA — were affected, but saved from disaster by well-time deliveries of duck and Puck. Phew!

  3. The red is from the “No Parking” sign (or whatever it says as it’s soft). The blue from improper white-balance.
